Type: The Product is a passively managed UCITS ETF of VanEck UCITS ETFs plc, an umbrella fund structure comprising different sub-funds. UnderIrish law, VanEck UCITS ETFs plc has segregated liability between its sub-funds. VanEck UCITS ETFs plc does currently not offer an exchange ofshares for shares of another sub-fund. The shares are admitted for trading on various stock exchanges and can be traded on the secondarymarket. The price of the shares offered on the secondary market may deviate from the net asset value of the shares. Term: No fixed term. We are entitled to terminate the management of the Product by giving at least one month notice to investors as published at leaston our website. Objective: The Product's investment objective is to replicate, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the ICE BofA Diversified HighYield US Emerging Markets Corporate Plus Index (the “Index”).In order to seek to achieve its investment objective, the investment policy of the Product is to invest in a diversified portfolio of US dollardenominated below investment grade emerging markets corporate and quasi-government debt instruments publicly issued and listed on major USand Eurobond markets that consist of the component securities that comprise the Index.The Index is comprised of fixed rate US dollar below investment grade emerging markets corporate and quasi-government debt instruments withgreater than 12 months to maturity. In order to qualify for inclusion an issuer must have risk exposure to countries other than members of the FXG10, and territories of the US and Western European countries.The FX-G10 includes all Euro members, the US, Japan, the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Norway and Sweden. Due to thepractical difficulties and expense of purchasing all of the securities in the Index, the Product does not purchase all of the securities in the Index.Instead, the Investment Manager utilizes a “sampling” methodology in seeking to achieve the Product’s objective. The Product may purchase asubset of the debt instruments (for example bonds) in the Index in an effort to hold a portfolio of debt instruments with generally the same risk andreturn characteristics of the Index.The Product may invest in ancillary liquid assets and money market instruments which may include bank deposits, certificates of deposit, fixed orfloating rate instruments, commercial paper, floating rate notes and freely transferable promissory notes.Further, the Product may also invest in financial derivative instruments for efficient portfolio management or hedging purposes. However, this risk is mitigated to a certain extent by the fact the Depositary is required by law and regulation to segregate its own assets from the assets of the Product.
